1 Pick one passport and stay with it
A Tajikistan eVisa is linked to the passport number on the application. Applying on one passport and presenting another at check-in means the lookup finds nothing — the commonest way dual nationals get stopped.
2 Which passport to choose
Tajikistan accepts 130 nationalities across its 4 products, and eligibility can differ between them. Points to weigh:
- Eligibility. Check each of your nationalities on the Tajikistan eVisa requirements page — one may be eligible for this route where the other is not.
- Validity. Use the passport with comfortable validity beyond a stay of up to 2 months.
- The rest of your itinerary. If other legs of the trip depend on a particular passport, keep the whole trip on it.
3 Do not apply twice
Filing on both passports creates two live records for one person. That conflicts, and unpicking it takes longer than the 5 working days you were trying to hedge against.
4 Declare honestly
Where the form asks about other nationalities, answer accurately. A discrepancy found later is treated far more seriously than the second nationality itself.
5 Before you apply
Work through the Tajikistan eVisa requirements checklist, then continue to the application flow. Other questions for this destination are collected in the Tajikistan eVisa FAQ.
United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.
