1 What you already have
A Tajikistan eVisa permits a stay of up to 2 months, inside the window printed on your approval. That ceiling is set when the permit is issued. An application service cannot raise it, and neither can paying more — United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.
2 If you need longer
Extensions are handled by the immigration authority inside Tajikistan, under their own rules, and they are discretionary. Practical points:
- Start well before your permitted stay expires. An application filed after expiry is an overstay question, not an extension question.
- Take your passport, your approval, and evidence of why the longer stay is needed.
- Assume it may be refused, and have a departure plan that works either way.
3 Overstaying is the expensive mistake
Overstaying can mean fines, removal, and a record that affects later applications to Tajikistan and sometimes elsewhere. If an extension is refused and you cannot leave in time, speak to the authority rather than letting the date pass quietly.
4 Planning a longer trip from the start
Tajikistan issues Multiple Entries products as well as single entry — if your trip involves leaving and returning, choose that at application time rather than trying to fix it later.
5 Before you apply
Work through the Tajikistan eVisa requirements checklist, then continue to the application flow. Other questions for this destination are collected in the Tajikistan eVisa FAQ.
