1 The form does not match the passport
The single biggest cause. Every one of the passport number, full name exactly as printed in the machine-readable line, date of birth, nationality and passport expiry date must match the passport's machine-readable line character for character — including middle names, hyphens and the order names appear in. "Close enough" is not a standard that applies here.
2 Passport validity too short
A Pakistan eVisa allows a stay of up to 30 days. A passport that expires during or shortly after that stay is a routine refusal. Check the expiry date against the end of your intended stay, not against your departure date.
3 Unreadable documents
Glare, cropped corners, a photographed screen, a scan too low-resolution to read. The data page must be fully visible and legible.
4 Wrong product for the trip
Pakistan issues 3 distinct products covering Tourist and Business travel, across Single Entry and Multiple Entries. Applying under the wrong purpose, or under single entry for a trip that leaves and returns, is a preventable refusal.
5 Non-compliant photo
Wrong dimensions, a filtered or cropped selfie, glasses, shadow, or a busy background.
6 Rushing the last check
Review takes 5 working days, so an error costs you that window twice. Reading the file once against the passport itself is the cheapest step in the whole process.
7 Before you apply
Work through the Pakistan eVisa requirements checklist, then continue to the application flow. Other questions for this destination are collected in the Pakistan eVisa FAQ.
United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.
