1 Which product you are applying under
Pakistan issues 3 products covering Tourist and Business travel. A letter matters most on the business route, where it establishes who you are meeting and why. On a tourist application it is usually optional, and a hotel booking or host's details carry the same weight.
2 What a usable letter contains
- The inviting person's or company's full name, address and contact details.
- Your full name exactly as it appears in your passport, plus your passport number.
- The purpose of the visit and the exact dates.
- Who is covering costs and where you will stay.
- A signature, and company letterhead where it comes from a business.
3 The mistake that causes refusals
A name on the letter that does not match the passport. Every one of the passport number, full name exactly as printed in the machine-readable line, date of birth, nationality and passport expiry date has to line up across the form, the passport and the supporting documents. A letter that contradicts the application is worse than no letter at all.
4 Timing
Get the letter before you apply, not after. Review runs 5 working days, and a file paused for a missing document restarts that window rather than continuing it.
5 Before you apply
Work through the Pakistan eVisa requirements checklist, then continue to the application flow. Other questions for this destination are collected in the Pakistan eVisa FAQ.
United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.
