1 Payment declined
Almost always the bank rather than us. Common causes are cross-border blocks, an unusual merchant category, or a daily limit. Check your banking app for a decline notice, approve it there, and retry once.
2 Charged but no confirmation
Wait for the email before doing anything else — the confirmation and the charge do not always land in the same minute. Then search your whole mailbox, including spam, for the reference. Automated mail is filtered often.
3 Two charges showing
Often one is an authorisation hold rather than a completed charge, and it drops off by itself within a few working days. If two completed charges remain, contact support with both amounts and timestamps rather than raising a chargeback — a chargeback can suspend the application it was meant to protect.
4 Payment worked, application seems stuck
Malaysia review runs 5 working days, and no visible movement during that window is normal. Chase after it, not during it.
5 What the fees are
A US$55 government fee plus a flat US$59.99 service fee per traveller. Anything charged beyond that is worth querying immediately.
6 Getting back on track
Work through the Malaysia eVisa requirements checklist, then continue to the application flow. Other questions for this destination are collected in the Malaysia eVisa FAQ.
United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.
