How can I track my Zimbabwe eVisa status?

On this pageView sections

1 What the 5 working days actually cover

Standard Zimbabwe review is 5 working days. There is no urgent or super-urgent tier on this destination, so a chase before day 5 does not shorten the queue. The clock starts when a complete file reaches the authority, not when you opened the form. Public holidays in Zimbabwe pause the count; weekend days do not count as working days.

Within that window, silence is the normal state. Most files produce no visible movement until the decision itself.

2 Kaza Univisa vs tourist / business eVisa

Zimbabwe’s product mix is not a single permit:

  • Tourist and business eVisas: single or double entry, 30-day stay, 90-day validity, government fee US$60 (single) or US$75 (double).
  • Kaza Univisa: multiple entry, 90-day stay, 7-day visa validity, government fee US$80.

Kaza is a different permit, not a faster track. You still wait the same 5 working days, and the result still arrives on the email address from the form. Do not open a second tourist file while a Kaza file is open, or the reverse — two live files for one traveller take longer to unpick than the wait.

3 Where the result actually arrives

  • Search the whole mailbox, including spam and promotions, for the reference — automated approval mail is filtered often.
  • If the email address on the form was mistyped, the message is not late; it is gone. Confirm that address before assuming delay.
  • Keep the passport you applied with. A renewed passport number will not match the approval.

4 When to chase

Chase only after 5 working days plus any Zimbabwe public holidays, and only after a full-mailbox search. United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.

If the travel date is inside that window, count remaining working days, not calendar days. Do not submit a duplicate.

5 While you wait

Confirm you picked the product that matches the trip (30-day tourist/business vs 90-day Kaza) on the Zimbabwe eVisa requirements checklist, then use the application flow only when the file is actually complete. Other Zimbabwe questions sit in the Zimbabwe eVisa FAQ.
