1 Why two, not one
Entry and exit stamps are applied at the border and are not always placed tidily. Two clear pages covers a stamp in and a stamp out with room to spare, which matters more here because Uganda issues multiple-entry products — every crossing adds marks.
2 Pages that do not count
- Pages already carrying visas or stamps, even partly.
- The amendments and endorsements pages at the back — many authorities will not stamp them.
- The data page and the page facing it.
Count only genuinely clear visa pages.
3 Validity is the bigger risk
Blank pages rarely stop anyone; passport validity does. A Uganda eVisa allows a stay of up to 3 months, so measure your passport's expiry date against the end of your intended stay, not your departure date. Many destinations expect a margin beyond that again.
4 If your passport is nearly full or nearly expired
Renew before applying, not after. The eVisa is linked to the passport number you apply with, so renewing afterwards breaks the link and costs you a fresh application, a fresh US$90–US$150 government fee and another 5 working days.
5 Before you apply
Work through the Uganda eVisa requirements checklist, then continue to the application flow. Other questions for this destination are collected in the Uganda eVisa FAQ.
United eVisa Services is a private application-support provider, not a government agency. The immigration authority makes the decision.
